From Bakewell the walk goes via Over Haddon down into and along Lathkill Dale before taking a path up to the top of the dale and going along via Ricklow Quarry and descending gradually towards Bagshaw Dale. The return to Bakewell is via Magpie Mine and Dirtlow Farm.
This is a repeat of a previous walk and there has not been a recent recce. Adjustments will be made to the route if there are any problems with the footpaths. There are ups and downs on the route but only one short steep ascent.
08.30 218 bus to Bakewell or cars can park in Bakewell (spaces may be available on Holme Lane). Meet Rutland Square by the bus stop.
