Take the bus to Ingol. Walk to pick up Preston Guild Wheel. Proceed in an anti clockwise direction through Cottam to pick up the Savick Brook branch of the Canal. Continue to Lea and then to the former Preston Docks. Lastly follow the north bank of the River Ribble to Avenham Park, and then into the centre of Preston.

Various options exist in or near the Market Hall for post walk refreshments.
Preston Bus Station - bay number 1 (not used by buses) - northern end of Bus Station. Suggest that you park the car and then catch a bus to the bus station.
