Penarth cliff top and Cosmeston Lakes

An easy walk taking in the coast path, parks and pier in Penarth and through the woodland of Cosmeston country park. It’s a mixture of urban and woodland walking , partly on pavement and partly on woodland trails. It will be muddy in the woods but walking trainers/ shoes should be ok unless there’s been recent heavy rain in which case boots will be better. If the weather’s good we’ll enjoy lovely views across the Bristol Channel to North Devon but if not- well it has a different kind of charm!
