We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is an 8 mile moderate walk visiting Chesterfield Canal, Greenmile Lane, and Babworth Church. Interesting features along the way include Babworth Hall and church and Retford golf course.
Please contact the Leader to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as "booking a place".
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leader as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be a refreshment stop and lunch stop so bring a drink and a snack.
