We are the Dunfermline and West Fife Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts at Kennoway main street (north end) and continues by pavement to Windygates. From Windygates we head on tracks (faint in places) towards Markinch Hill and the towns ancient Stob Cross. From Markinch we head towards Glenrothes. Features of interest on this part of the walk is the woodland walk along the River Leven which offers chances to spot resident wildlife, including grey walktails and dippers. Other features of interest include Balbirnie Park and Stone Circle.

Faint and muddy paths in places between Kennoway and Markinch. Bus is Stagecoach 43 and 43A, at 13:55 or 14:25 (24min). Registered assistance dogs only. Not suitable for children.
