Overview

From the Glen the route, on pavements, heads across Liggar's Bridge to join a farm track passing Gallowridge Hill farm to join the Waggon Road. A short section of road walking follows (no pavement) to join a track to the small hamlet of Pitliver. The route heads towards Charlestown crossing the main road to Crombie and entering Lord Elgin's estate. From Charlestown, on pavements, the route takes us to Limekilns and the path to the old Rosyth Church. The final leg joins the Pilgrims Way, passing Douglasbank Cemetery back to the start.
