Overview

A joint walk with the Hampstead Group over undulating terrain at a moderate to fast pace finishing at Eastbourne Station.

Route: Polegate - Wannock - Combe Hill - Willingdon Hill - East Dean - Birling Gap - Beachy Head - Eastbourne.

Lunch: After 5.5 miles at the Tiger Inn, East Dean BN20 0DA (01323 433209).

Drop-out point: East Dean for frequent 12/12A/12B bus services to Eastbourne.

Travel: Victoria 9.46, Clapham Junction 9.53, East Croydon 10.02, Polegate 11.03.  Buy a CDR to Eastbourne.
