We start by heading east on the North Downs Way (pausing to look at the 'arty' bench) before eventually turning north to use lesserknown tracks and smaller paths through the woods, passing some spectacular old yew trees along the way. A few ups and downs but none too taxing. Likely to be a few muddy stretches. Bring coffee/snack and perhaps a picnic for the end.
