We are the Vale of Clwyd Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a linear walk, back on the bus so bring change or your bus pass.
The start is Harbour Hub in Rhyl - watch out for my hi vis vest!
A note of caution: the car park is no longer free and charges will apply.
This is an easy "on the flat" walk for the most part, other than sanddunes in Horton's Nose Rhyl or Kinmel Bay where we pass through nature reserves. (We may opt out of crossing these if we have wheelchair users in the group). EXCEPTIONALLY and because this walk is a Festival Walk (not a Ramblers walk per se) we are allowing dogs on leads.
Our lunch stop is likely to be in Pensarn, where there are toilets (chargeable) and cafe facilities. We end the walk at Tides Café, Llanddulas (LL22 8EY) before we return on the bus (every 15 minutes).
This 6 mile walk should feel like a stroll in fresh sea air with lovely views towards Llandudno and the mountains.

The bus stop is reached by walking from the cafe along to Beach House Road, passing under the A55 and reaching the bus stop on the A547
