Overview

A repeat of last September's walk to the beach. Preston Park, then coffee/toilets at a church on way uphill after 2 miles. Across the A270 then Woodvale Crematorium up to the racecourse, beginning the slow descent to Blackrock (toilets) after 6 miles, then along the beachfront for lunch at Yellowwave Beach Café (licensed). Further along the beach for the ice cream stop at Boho's in Pool Valley before ascending to the station via North Laine markets or via The Lanes shops. Note that the walking distance can be reduced by taking the Volks Electric Railway from Blackrock to lunch, and from lunch to the Sea Life Centre (£3.20 single, every 10 minutes)
