Overview

From the car park, around the Tarn, across the Common onto Crooksbury. One short, steep ascent. Returning via Lower Puttenham Common. Wide sandy tracks, some views, fine woodland & Britty Wood. Good conditions underfoot though the odd section of mud near the ponds.

This is the Group Christmas Drinks Wednesday walk. Mulled wine & mince pies at the end. Optional pub in Puttenham village. Members should book individually if intending to take lunch.

Puttenham Common Middle car park. Through Puttenham village, turn left into Suffield Lane opposite the Good Intent pub. Follow road for about 2 miles to car park on the right. Please note, NOT the first car park which is signed the Puttenham Top.
