Overview

Meet 11am at Sleaford railway station.  A linear walk along public footpaths and quiet lanes with fine views across the Ancaster Valley, South Rauceby, alongside the River Slea to discover the site of Sleaford castle! (this is a linear walk, we take the train out and walk back to Sleaford, we do not return to Ancaster). 

The train departs Sleaford at 11:13 to arrive Ancaster 11:22. (a connecting train departs Lincoln 10:33, Metheringham 10:45, Ruskington 10:54 to arrive Sleaford 11:02) 

Walk is free but fares apply. No dogs please.

Event is part of the North Kesteven Walking Festival in conjunction with the Poacher Line Community Rail Partnership.
