This walk starts adjacent to the Redmires reservoirs and first of all there is a climb up to Stanage Pole. We then follow Stanage Edge as far as Mostar Lodge before going East through Hollow Meadows and down to Rivelin valley. We follow the river along the woodland path to reach Wyming Brook. This is climbed after lunch before taking the path behind Redmires reservoirs back to the start. No pub stop.
Meet at the very end of Redmires Road. There is parking on the road or a free car park a few hundred metres before the end of the road. Take the A57 Manchester Road out of Sheffield. Turn left along Sandygate Road which leads directly on to Redmires Road.
