Overview

Open woodland, panoramic views, deep valleys and proverbial babbling brooks; returning past Stokesay Castle and a meander alongside the River Onny. This walk really does have everything, even tea and cakes afterwards for those who are hungry!

Two ascents with one short steep muddy section, so poles recommended. Several stiles, all easy. A shallow stream to ford and a flooded field gate to negotiate so waterproof footwear essential. Mud!
