Overview

The longer standing members will have done versions of this walk before but we love it and on a fine day it has excellent views and varied aspects. After a second recce this weekend, for various reasons we have decided to tackle it in the opposite direction from that first described. This means the climb is much less steep and the views are even better.

On the last recce the ground was still frozen with quite a lot of lying snow. However the forecast suggests this is likely to have melted so expect mud! There are a few stiles at the start of the walk, nothing too tricky, but there is a fallen tree that we couldn't deal with so it's over or under I'm afraid,  depending on your leg length and limbo abilities.
