Severnside Ramblers are an active, friendly bunch and always keen to welcome new walkers and visitors. Join us on a Friday Amble or a longer walk on a Sunday.
We start from the Fromebridge Mill car park and follow the River Frome via Eastington to Kings Stanley and return along the Stroudwater Navigation following the Thames and Severn Way. This is an interesting stretch of the canal and will enable us to see the progress made in restoring the canal and linking it to its Saul section. This is a flat walk with a few stiles.
There is some standing water at the M5 underpass, so please wear waterproof boots. An alternative dry route is available, but is low and rather dark. Please bring a torch with you as the return underpass is also very dark!
