Overview

We will leave Anglezarke Car Park and walk up the excellent path besides the spillway from Yarrow Reservoir. From there we will take the gentle track to Rivington to cross the causeway by road. Turning right (i.e. north) along The Street, we will reach a road, cross it and follow field paths to Back Lane. Here we turn right and walk on the road for a short distance before we reach Healey Fold Lane. This is an unsurfaced road which is good to walk on. From there we will descend to the head of Anglezarke Reservoir and follow field paths and tracks back to the start.
