Overview

****** ONLY 20 PLACES AVAILABLE SO BOOKING ESSENTIAL ******

This walk is organised in conjunction wth Nigel Hardacre of the Lancaster Canal Trust. It's an easy route   but good walking shoes or boots are recommended as we go through fields to connect both canals. There is the old Lancaster Canal (1797) and the new Ribble Link (2002) plus other local history from the 19th and 20th Centuries. The return part of the walk stops off at the Final Whistle Cafe and UCLAN Sports Ground for outside seating and WC's
