Overview

An 8-mile circular walk from Rivington Hall Barn climbing up to the restored Gardens and the Pidgeon Tower. Contouring around the upper slopes of Winter Hill on a track called the Belmont Road to Hordern Stoops. Returning via Higher Hempshaw’s and Yarrow Reservoir. The majority of the walk is on good tracks and paths, with just one short patch where it may be wet underfoot.
