Overview

Hello Everyone

A local walk in store for this Sunday when we roll out to the north from Rugeley town centre over to Hill Ridware and onwards to Colton before returning back to base. Field footpaths, wide farm tracks, and a canalside stretch complete the circuit. A few gentle inclines and approximately 20 stiles.

Underfoot conditions were surprisingly dry during the recon mission today (Wednesday) and it will probably take significant rainfall to revert back to any mud before Sunday.

As always, feel free to join us, but please let us know you're coming along if this is your very first walk with the group. The day before will do fine. Thank you very much.

Registration: 09.30. Walk start: 09.45.  Walk leader: Barry C ( 07811 141484)

⚠️⏰Please note that British Summer Time begins at 02.00hrs on Sunday morning when clocks go forward one hour. Accordingly, it'll probably feel chilly at the start.

No facilities at the start or on the walk itself.

Our own members should note there is no rendezvous at Hednesford for this local event. Please drive direct to the start.

Post walk refreshment venue to be decided on the day.
