Overview

This a lovely walk along the River Clyde into the centre of Glasgow passing Glasgow Green and the Peoples Palace.   It gives good views of the River Clyde and the surrounding area including many of the bridges that span the Clyde.

The meeting place is Rutherglen Station at 10.30am.  Trains run from Motherwell Station at 9.17 [Dalmuir] and a few minutes later at Hamilton Station.   There are toilet facilities and takeaway coffee at the large Tesco Store.    When we finish at  St. Enoch there are plenty of restaurants for lunch or a coffee before getting train back to Motherwell.
