We are the Somer Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This linear walk takes us along a very level section of Samaritan Way where the Somerset Levels meet Bridgwater Bay. Once in Bridgwater we see evidence of Bridgwater pottery and walk the moat around old Bridgwater Castle.
In the countryside there are no toilets, but Bridgwater offers more amentities. Bring a drink and a light picnic. At the end of the walk we will car share back to the start. If you intend to join us at the start of the walk please let the walk leader know in advance so we can ensure there is transport to take you back to your car.
