We are the Strathkelvin Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A medium difficulty figure of eight circuit with some moderately challenging sections. The route is quite varied in scenery and terrain. Several short, but quite steep, ascents and descents.
Small country roads and tracks at first, followed by tracks along the edge of the crags and around the reservoir.
Forest tracks and minor roads on the return part of the route.
Local Grade B
Car parking is at the Bannockburn Visitor Centre. There is no charge.
Toilets and cafe are available in the centre between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00.
