Starting from Main Street, Saxondale, we will cross the railway and make our way to Newton, where we will visit new and old parts of the village and stop for coffee. On our return, we will walk along the bridleway beside the A46, with a detour across the footbridge for a lunch stop on the outskirts of Bingham. The walk is mainly flat and there are no stiles, but there are steps up to the footbridge. There will be places to sit at both stops. If anyone would like a shorter walk without a lunch stop, it will be easy to get back to the start omitting the detour. Dogs are permitted if kept on a lead.
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
