This is an easy 5-mile walk, leaving from the Travellers Rest at Scholar Green at 10.00. We go to Little Moss Lane via Portland Drive and join the canal where the Trent and Mersey joins the Macclesfield Canal at the toll lock. We continue to the Red Bull Aqueduct and cross the bridge where two sections run in parallel until we reach the single canal near to the Bluebell pub. We carry on along the lower section and then walk back to join the Macclesfield Canal until we reach the swing bridge by Tea Pot Cottage. Crossing over, we walk through the fields to re-join Portland Drive and back to the pub.
There are two stiles.
