Overview

This is a figure of 8 walk and therefore it comprises of 2 walks: for the short walker 3.75mile; and the long walker 8.5miles. Both walks start at the same time at Scothern church.  Both have landscapes are flat (no hills).

For the short walk, we head south to and around Sudbrooke Park, passing the 'nodding donkeys', ponds, woodlands, new housing (find the thatched roof properties), Sudbrooke Scouts camp, grazing land for horses and cattle.  Back to Scothern.

For the long walk (also incorporates the short walk), we head north to Dunholme village centre, lunch at the church by the stream, pass over the stream by the ford, visit Dunholme Pinfold, "Pickering's Meadow Nature Reserve" and "Watts Wood Nature Reserve".  Back to Scothern.
