We are the Rother Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us on a lovely 9.5 mile circular walk, taking in 7 tons! Starting in Alfriston before heading out along the foot of the South Downs, through Milton Street, Wilmington, Folkington, Jevington, over the Downs to Lullington Heath, Litlington and return to Alfriston via the River Cuckmere. The walk includes 4 reasonably steep inclines, tracks, meadows, 3 stiles, and generally good footpaths, plus some fine views. We intend to stop for a picnic lunch in Jevington.
This walk will be at a good pace, with time to pause and enjoy the scenery, with coffee and lunch stop, bring plenty of water. We have categorised this walk as moderate/strenuous! Toilets near the start and potential refreshments at the end of the walk in Alfriston.
