A pretty, circular walk from Shepreth to Barrington in the Upper Cam Valley, taking in stretches of the River Rhee, on mainly flat footpaths and tracks. Some swing gates and a railway crossing.
Hourly train service to Shepreth from Cambridge and London.
Get the 9:26am train from Cambridge Station to London Kings Cross, stopping at Shepreth.
At start of the walk we will take in Docwra's Manor Garden, TeaCake – Tea rooms and a Grade II Shepreth Water Mill.
In Barrington, we will stop at church of All Saints, a Grade I listed building. Barrington has the longest green in Europe with pretty houses surrounding the green are topped with thatched roofs.
