We are the Cambridge Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our walk starts at Dunsbridge Turnpike and goes via Shepreth, Meldreth and Melbourn with varied landscapes, including by the Rivers Shep and Mel. The walk is 5.4 miles, with a 4.9 mile option for those wanting slightly shorter walk.
Sections likely to be muddy/boggy following wet weather.
Bring drink/snack for mid-morning break.
The Green Man pub is open on Mondays from 11.30am.

NOTE for those travelling from Cambridge to Shepreth on the A10 there will be a diversion in place due to:- Engineering work at Foxton level crossing over the Christmas period. As a result of this, the level crossing will be completely closed to vehicles and pedestrians continuously between Wednesday 25 December 2024 until Monday 1 January 2025, with further night-time closures over the following days.
