Overview

Route is a treat for tree and heath lovers. Simple but beautiful walk on well made paths and bridleways.

We will pass the Major Oak.

There are no stiles or bridges and one very gentle incline.

Dogs are welcome.

The walk starts at Paddock Close Edwinstowe NG21 9LP. Take the A6075 (from Ollerton) it is straight on from Ollerton Village or first left if coming up the A614. Signed Mansfield. Go past main cross roads, straight on - turn right up Birkland Drive, to the top, turn on Greendale Avenue then left onto Paddock Close. Past the primary school road marking and park off little bend (finger post/bench/bin). Space for at least 4 cars.
