Overview

Park roadside in Holly Lane, Ambergate for a walk in Shining Cliff Woods.  This may be a wild flower walk, but they cannot be guaranteed. The walk starts alongside the old wire works (part of which is now a whisky distillery) and then ascends a footpath which becomes a stream in wet weather.  We eventually reach the sad remains of Betty Kenny's Tree before descending through an area where if we are lucky we may see bluebells.

There may be some very muddy places so please bring walking poles
