Walking in the Derbyshire Dales

Derbyshire Dales is an area of outstanding beauty in the White Peak area of Derbyshire. Our Ramblers are a sociable, friendly bunch who welcome visitors from other walking groups and those new to walking.

We organise walks ranging from a leisurely 4 miles to a strenuous 12+ miles over 5 days of the week. Click on a walk below and contact the leader for details or check out our website for full information on how to join our walks and other activities.

We value our astonishing network of 1,700 Km of paths; our footpath team check these regularly reporting problems and monitoring changes to paths and access areas with the authorities; we welcome volunteers to help with this work.
