Overview

We start at Burrator Dam descending down through the woods to Meavy school. We cross over the river Meavy and up to Marchants cross where we head off to Yeo Farm and Burrator wood where we will have a coffee break. Continuing via Sheepstor, near the church, before following the road and footpath if passable back to the dam. Crossing over the dam we follow the road to the Discovery Centre for lunch and carols joining up with those on the longer walk. If the weather remains dry after lunch we will head up to Lowery Cross returning via Yennadon Down and the old railway line back to the start.

There are a few stiles and no doubt there will be mud. There are some climbs but nothing too demanding.
