Overview

Starting at Shotley Marina, we will walk along the River Orwell to Pin Mill with splendid views of the Port and the river. We will cross through agricultural land along paths and sandy tracks to reach the River Stour, returning to Shotley Gate with views of Harwich.

Please bring a picnic lunch. Paths may be overgrown in places.

There is public parking at the marina. Please car share as much as possible. There are toilets at Pin Mill, or get to the start early and have a coffee at The Shipwreck-they have toilets.
