Overview

The walk has two stiff climbs, the first in the forest and the second to the summit of Shutlingsloe, followed by a steep descent.

Terrain consists of forestry tracks, moorland paths, lanes and fields. Excellent views on a clear day.

There is some free lay-by parking near the car park, but this fills quickly. If required the car park is £4.50 for the day, payable in cash.
