Walking in South Cheshire
Welcome to the Ramblers South Cheshire Group. We cover an area from Crewe and Nantwich that also extends south to include Audlem and close to Whitchurch. We are well situated for a wide range of walks in the Peak District, Wales and Shropshire.
Our walking community
We are a friendly and sociable group of people, from all walks of life, who all have one thing in common – a love of walking. You’ll find a warm welcome as a newcomer – just come and try one of our walks for yourself!
We also work with our local partners on rights of way and path improvement to ensure the outdoor is accessible to everyone.
You can find out more about our group on our website [link] for information and our upcoming walks and events.
Our walks
We walk almost every weekend of the year, have regular Thursday walks and in the summer months we have our Tuesday evening pub walks programme. All walks meet at the time and place stated on the programme.
We have three meeting places: Nantwich Lake, Acton and Haslington. Each are convenient for travelling to the walk start location. If you don't have your own transport, lifts can be arranged if you can get to our initial meeting points. Please let the Walk Leader know if you intend to meet at the walk start point, in case there is a change in arrangements. Also please note that the time given on the programme is the time we expect to leave, so allow yourself a little extra time.
