Overview

The original walk planned is impassable in places because of flooding. Instead a shorter walk is offered. Park in the CP for the Roman Town (nearest postcode RG7 2HJ). The walk follows part of the Silchester Heritage Trail and the Brenda Parker Way anticlockwise returning via Clappers Farm moated site, St Mary the Virgin Church, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Roman City walls.
