Overview

From the car park the route heads up a steep hill in the direction of the North Downs way before turning south and passing Hollister Farm, Netley Heath and Colekitchen Farm. Then down hill to Gomshall followed by a loop to the south of Shere and then back to the car park.

Silent Pool car park is very popular with walkers so best to arrive early to be sure of a parking space. When crossing the A25 (we do it two times) walkers are to follow the leaders instructions. Walking poles are recommended for the steep up and down hills. Bring coffee and nibbles for a half way break.
