Walking in the Mole Valley
We are a growing and friendly group enjoying walks across the heart of Surrey and further afield. We provide a full range of walks, both on weekdays and at weekends, generally 5-7 miles for half day walks and 10-14 for full day walks.
We also offer shorter more leisurely walks, of 3-5 miles, for those who prefer something gentler. As our membership has grown, so too has our walks programme. On some days we now offer a choice of two or three walks so that group sizes can remain manageable. Well-behaved dogs will be welcome to join many of our walks too.
Whether you are a seasoned walker or someone who is keen to experience walking in a group, then why not give us a try? We look forward to meeting you soon.
Our walking community
As well as walking, our members can enjoy group social events. These have included Spring Walks Festivals offering a full week of walking and social gatherings. During the summer we arrange picnics and occasional coach trips, allowing members to walk further afield.
Group holidays have proved to be popular with those members wishing to enjoy walking together in other attractive parts of the country, and we always welcome suggestions for future holidays from our members.
Other group activities include protecting Rights of Way (RoW) by checking any RoW issues arising from planning/development and maintaining footpaths as a member of our Footpath Maintenance team. More information on these activities can be found in the Footpaths section of our website [link].
We keep in regular contact with our members through e-newsletters and a members-only Facebook group, and are always open to new ways of making our group appeal to a wider audience.
