We are the Richmond Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will cross Hammersmith Bridge and walk the South Bank of the Thames towards Barnes taking in the Nature reserve. At Barnes we will cross the rail bridge to the north bank and head for Chiswick House for a picnic or café lunch. After a circuit in the gardens it will be time to rejoin the Thames Path and enjoy a very varied and interesting section of the Thames before arriving back at Hammersmith. Approximately 6 miles of pathways some of which may be muddy. We should return at around 3 o'clock for a cake and cuppa for those who wish!
