We are the Cirencester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from The Thames Head Inn GL7 6NZ, the walk goes along the road to Talton before crossing the fields to the Thames and Seven Canal, picking up the Monarch’s Way. We take the canal path to the Wysis Way which becomes the Thames Path at the source of the Thames. We then make our way back to the Inn where it is possible to get refreshments.
Mainly flat walk, Road, fields, and canal path, last section may be wet underfoot if heavy rain. A few stiles.
There will be no pick-up at the travel lodge for this walk, Please meet at the Thames Head at 9.45 am. If you need a lift please contact the walk leader. (Travel Donation £2.00)
