South Park Wood, Manor Sware and Cademuir Forest

We will leave Kings Meadows Car Park and follow the River Tweed.  We will cross Fotheringham Bridge and continue along the river bank, passing Neidpath Castle.  After a short distance we recross the River Tweed and head up through South Park Wood.  We will arrive at the Sware, where we will take advantage of the views and have  a coffee break.  We continue through Spoon Wood , exiting via a ladder stile to pick up the John Buchan way.  We will follow this clear path for a short distance before using the gate to enter Cademuir Plantation.  At the summit we will stop for lunch, before walking through the forest to rejoin the John Buchan Way at Tantah.  We will follow this path back to our starting point.
