This town centre Walk is for members of the group who feel that they need an easier walk. Members who have joined but for one reason haven’t yet attended a walk and would like to know more. And for anyone (over 18) who wants to take advantage of the three trial walks provided before deciding to join or not. This is a leisurely walk no special equipment is necessary. Trainers or similar will be fine. Rainwear depending on the weather. We will take a short break overlooking the sea so you may wish to bring a snack and drink.
We take a circular route around the town centre from Priory Park. Your leader may briefly point out points of interest. The park has a car park but is also accessible by public transport with Victoria and Central Stations within walking distance. Several buses including no’s 7, 8 & 9 stop close by.
Entry to the Park by car is from the North. If approaching from the South go to the r/about at the A1159/ Princes Avenue.
