Join us for a fun wee walk on the Spectacle E'e Falls Circular Route from Strathaven.
As per Spectacle E'e falls circular, Strathaven on Walk Highlands the route is a circular walk from the bustling market town of Strathaven heads out along the road and then down to cross the Avon Water before visiting a ruined mill and the Spectacle E'e waterfalls.
Getting there
By car: The starting point of this walk is a 33-minute drive from Glasgow City Centre. This is a circular walk, so we will be returning to the car park at the end of the walk.
Public transport: There is a train that runs to Hamilton Central Train Station or the No 267 Bus from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station runs to Hamilton Bus Station and then No.13 to Strathaven a total journey time of 1 hour 40 minutes.
This is an easy walk that is suitable for those with reasonable fitness levels. Please wear suitable walking boots and bring your full waterproofs as well as plenty of layers with you. Please also make sure that you have plenty of food and water ( minimum 2 litres) with you.
We will be stopping in Strathaven for some coffee/lunch afterwards and access to public toilets.
