A circular walk from the historic town of St Columb Major to St Mawgan using the Vale of Lanherne river walk and returning via footpaths. The first part of the walk takes in a wooded valley, following the Menalhyl River to St Mawgan for a picnic lunch. On the return the walk pulls off the vale, with some road walking and then along country footpaths, which are partially electric fenced, with stiles and mud.
