Overview

This is a Gloucester Group walk.

A circular and scenic walk mainly following contours except for an uphill section through Lidcombe Wood and a downhill section to Laverton. From the car park at Stanton, we head south through the village then through fields to Stanway following the Winchcombe Way. After a short distance east on the B4077, the route climbs steadily north-east through Lidcombe Wood to Park Farm then over fields to Snowshill. From Snowshill we head north continuing beyond Great Brockhampton Farm to bear west and rejoin the Winchcombe Way at Laverton before finally turning south back to Stanton.
