A short steep ascent from the carpark for an undulating circuit of Stinchcombe Hill Golf course with 360 degree views of the surrounding Gloucestershire towns and villages. After completing the circuit of the golf course the path drops steeply down to the garden centre.
As the car park is for customers of the garden centre I plan to enjoy a coffee before starting the walk, unless the centre is exceptionally busy.
And on returning to the centre I will replace the calories expended on the initial climb in the cafe.
If you do not want to take advantage of the garden centre then please park on one of the nearby roads. You can then use the Cotswold Way Footpath (adjacent to the Leaf & Ground Centre) leading up to the golf course to join us.
