We are the Maldon and Dengie Hundred Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Maldon and Dengie Ramblers' Tuesday long walks are normally between ten and twelve miles long and are circular walks. There is a lunch stop, normally at a pub or café, half way through the walk.
The morning walk is 6.5 miles, the afternoon walk is 5.5 miles. This is a figure-of-eight walk. Please bring a packed lunch.
Meet at the Stow Maries village hall in Church Lane. We will also return there at lunch time. The hall will open their toilets in return for a small donation, say £1 per car. Please note: Church Lane is closed at the railway bridge, which has been deemed unsafe. You can enter the lane from the northern end but not from the south side B1012.
