Overview

We leave New Radnor though its churchyard and soon start steadily climbing, stopping frequently to enjoy the constantly opening up vista. After a deserved coffee stop, we descend into Davy Morgan's Dingle then via an overgrown path enter Warren Wood. Now it's an easy tramp down a forest track and a magical path before we leave the wood, pass Vron Farm and carefully cross the main road. Our route back to New Radnor is along tracks and paths behind The Smatcher and down a very steep tarmacked lane.

Although there is plenty of on street parking in New Radnor, I have arranged that we can use the car park at the rear of the Radnor Arms. It is closed at the moment but it is hoped that it will be opened as a community pub. I will be collecting £1.00 per car to contribute to their fund.
