What better way to mark the shortest day and avoid the last minute Christmas shopping with a leisurely walk around Sutton Park's heathland, forest and lakes... We'll meet outside the cafe at Town Gate and follow a route through the forests, across the heathland and over to Bracebridge pool for a stop by the Sip and Slice artisan eatery, where snacks and hot drinks are available. before heading back to the start. Bringing lunch is recommended but not essential since there will be places to buy food and the walk is expected to finish around 2pm. Note sections can be muddy so boots or sturdy shoes recommended.
